Hocus Pocus a 1993 classic is hands down my favorite way to celebrate Halloween. When I was in college I wore out a VHS tape for as much as I watched this movie in September, and October. I'm now on my second DVD, and watch it nearly daily in the month of October.
There's something so endearing about the Sanderson sisters, and their crazy antics. I can't get enough of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson Sisters, and though some of the effects are old and a few of the lines are sappy and stupid, I can recite this movie from beginning to end, and have dressed up on Halloween as a Sanderson Sister more than once.
My Husband looked at me yesterday and said "I am kind of getting excited for our marathon of scary movies" and I squealed and gave him a big kiss! My Hubby isn't nearly as enthusiastic about Halloween as I am, but he does humor me, and we watch scary movies together the entire month of October!
